Teoma – Founded in 2000 by a professor and his colleagues at Rutgers University, Teoma.com was acquired by Ask Jeeves in 2001 and was used to run Ask.com for several years. In May of 2010, Teoma was relaunched as an independent search engine with results similar to those on Ask.com, but slightly different for testing purposes.
